Wilwood Forged Narrow Superlite 6 Brake Caliper Radial Mount - 1.25" Disc Thickness - Left Hand Black

The Wilwood Forged Narrow Superlite 6 (FNSL) caliper is a highly advanced and versatile brake solution that offers unparalleled performance, durability, and versatility in a broad range of vehicle applications. Featuring radial mounting for simplified adaptation and accurate alignment over the disc, this caliper integrates "Big Brake" style with Wilwood's latest technology to deliver exceptional stopping power even in extreme environments. The FNSL's superior performance is attributed to its extremely durable and efficient body design, which starts at 4.9 pounds. The forging process involves stress-flow forging premium-grade aluminum alloy billets, resulting in a strong and reliable caliper body. This process eliminates stresses and interruptions to the internal grain structure that occur when machining a straight block billet. The FNSL features a unique six-piston differential bore configuration, which provides balanced loading for even pad wear in sustained high heat environments. The standard calipers come equipped with one-piece stainless steel pistons, which are chosen for their slow heat transfer properties and high resistance to corrosion. Upgrades are available with Wilwood's Thermlock pistons, which create a highly efficient thermal barrier to reduce heat transfer from the pads to caliper body, seals, and fluid. Each FNSL is equipped with SRS bridge plates that eliminate all bridge wear caused by pad gouging and extend the service life of the caliper. The spring-loaded action of these plates also eliminates pad rattle and dampens harmonic vibrations that contribute to pad squeal. The calipers have two-piece bleed screws on each end, along with internal fluid crossovers that prevent damage from track debris and other potential damage sources. High-temperature, square-faced bore seals provide the largest possible sealing area and controlled piston retraction on release. Wilwood offers a full range of pad compounds to match the brake response and heat range of any competition or sports driving application. Calipers are handed and sold individually, making it easy to customize your braking system. The FNSL caliper features a 1.25" disc thickness and left-hand configuration with radial mounting. It is available in black, providing a sleek and high-performance look for car enthusiasts.
