The Demon Tweeks 5kw Midi Heater, Side Vented, is designed for medium-sized vehicles, commercial or agricultural cabins, marine applications, and more. This midi heater comes in two variants: one with side vents and another with front vents, both of which provide an impressive 175cfm of airflow controlled by a 3-speed fan. The heater is connected to a hot water source via 16mm (5/8") hose tails and outputs through four 2" air outlets. It's recommended to install with a 4-position fan switch, rotary heater control knob, bowden cable, water hose, air ducting, and air vents. The heater requires a hot water supply, either from the vehicle engine cooling system or a separate hot water heater. The included water valve is not a bypass design; when in the "Off" position, there will be no water flow back to the engine. As a result, this heater is unsuitable for use on vehicles where the heater circuit is also used as the engines thermostat bypass circuit. If the vehicle doesn't have a thermostat bypass circuit, you can either retrofit a thermostat bypass water circuit or clamp the valve on the heater fully open so that it's unable to move and install or use the original heater bypass valve.
