Tillett W3 Seat - 42cm, GRP, With Back Frame, Black

The Tillett W3 Seat, measuring 42cm in width, is a lightweight and reclined version of the handcrafted W1 seat. Designed specifically for Formula racing vehicles, this seat's layback position makes it more comfortable for drivers in such applications. One notable feature of the W3 seat is its lack of a headrest, making it suitable for situations where an existing head support already exists. With a narrow design, the W3 can easily fit into most cockpits and can comfortably accommodate drivers up to 100kg in weight. The seat's construction material is GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic), which provides both lightness and strength. An optional upgrade to carbon/Kevlar material is also available, offering even greater strength and reduced weight (as low as 1.1kg). For secure mounting, the W3 seat comes with four M8 mounting bosses that allow it to be bolted directly onto a chassis. Additionally, there's an option to include a high-strength back frame in your purchase. This frame includes four M8 mounting bosses, which can either be bonded into the base for standalone installation or used in conjunction with the seat for added support and stability.
