The Tillett B4 seat is designed for drivers who require a lightweight, high-performance seat that can fit into very narrow cockpits, such as sports prototypes or formula cars. This GRP seat features a reclined racing position, providing excellent support and comfort while delivering superb chassis feedback to the driver. Its lightweight construction weighs from just 4.9kg, making it an ideal choice for drivers who require high levels of support and comfort without compromising on weight. The body mirroring shell shape provides maximum chassis feedback to the driver, ensuring that the seat is suitable for most driver shapes and sizes up to 100kg with a 36" (91.4cm) waist. The B4 seat features six M8 mounting points: four lower fixings are designed to accept a pair of side mounts or aluminium TB1 mounting brackets (sold separately), allowing the seat to be mounted directly to the floor or on top of runners. The two additional mountings at chest level provide more options for securing the seat. This seat is available in two widths, 40cm and 43cm, with identical internal dimensions but differing external dimensions. The 40cm option has its external rolled edge removed to allow fitment into smaller cockpits. Supplied with a Dinamica trimmed headrest, this seat is designed for drivers who require high levels of support and comfort without compromising on weight. The Tillett B4 is designed and manufactured in the UK from a choice of either GRP or Carbon/GRP composite materials. This seat shape has been optimized to provide superb levels of support and comfort even when used without padding, ensuring that the driver feels more connected to the chassis with increased feedback. The belt holes allow for a full racing harness to be used (a 5 or 6 point harness is recommended on a reclined seat), while the shoulder holes have been optimized to enable the use of an FHR/HANS device. The B4 has a lightweight GRP or Carbon/GRP construction, making it suitable for most drivers. To ensure maximum comfort and support, the Tillett B4 is designed with a comfortable seating position in mind, providing high levels of comfort even when used without padding. This seat is ideal for sports prototypes or formula cars where high levels of support and comfort are required.
