The Tillett B4 seat, designed for high-performance driving, offers a unique blend of comfort, support, and chassis feedback. Its lightweight construction, made from either GRP or Carbon/GRP composite, provides exceptional strength while keeping the weight down to just 4.9kg. This seat is specifically engineered to fit into very narrow cockpits, making it an ideal choice for sports prototypes or formula cars. The B4's design has been optimized to provide a reclined racing position, offering superb levels of support and comfort for drivers. The rigid twin skin design ensures excellent chassis feedback, allowing the driver to feel more connected to the car. With its body mirroring shell shape, the seat provides maximum comfort while maintaining high levels of support. The seat is suitable for most driver shapes and sizes, with a recommended waist size up to 100kg or 36" (91.4cm). A 30-device is recommended to suit the recline angle of the seat, ensuring a comfortable driving experience. This high-performance seat features six M8 mounting points: four at the side for accepting side mounts, and two at chest level for additional mounting options. The four lower fixings are designed for use with the aluminium TB1 mounting brackets (sold separately), allowing the B4 to be mounted directly to the floor or on top of runners. The Tillett B4 is available in two widths: 40cm or 43cm, both with identical internal dimensions but differing external rolled edges. The 40cm option has its external rolled edge removed to allow fitment into smaller cockpits. This high-performance seat comes supplied with a Dinamica trimmed headrest and is compatible with FHR/HANS devices. A two-piece Dinamica trimmed pad set is available for purchase separately, should you require it. Side mounts are not included, but compatible mounts can be viewed by clicking HERE.
