Schroth XLT FHR Device - 20º Large

The Schroth XLT FHR device has been designed to be the lightest FHR available, constructed from carbon fibre with a new design to keep the weight down to just 464g, approximately 25% lighter than the previous Carbon Pro model. The XLT FHR device features an ultra-lightweight and super strong carbon fibre construction, providing the ultimate in safety. Its new style 'Twist Anchor' fastening system makes it easier to clip and unclasp. This FHR device is available in two sizes: 20&# (Medium or Large) for use in saloon/GT applications or 30&# (Medium or Large) for use in most formula and sports cars where the seating position is more reclined. The medium size has a collar size of 15"-18.5" (38-47cm), while the large size has a collar size of 18" (46cm) and above. The FHR device comes with a pair of helmet clips (posts) that must be fitted to your helmet to allow the correct fitment of the FHR device. These clips are specifically designed not to connect to other types of helmet clip. It's worth noting that for competitors competing in Motorsport events sanctioned by Motorsport UK, all stage rally competitors must use an FHR, and circuit racing drivers in post 1976 cars must use an FHR. For circuit racing drivers in pre 1977 cars, an FHR is highly recommended. Demon Tweeks also recommends harnesses with 2/3" or 2" wide shoulder straps for use with all FHR's to provide the best fit. The FIA 8858-2010 Approved FHR device weighs 650g including padding and tethers.
