Schroth XLT FHR Device - 30º Medium

The Schroth XLT FHR Device, designed to be the lightest FHR available, has been constructed from carbon fibre to achieve an incredible weight of just 464g (approx. 650g including padding and tethers), representing a remarkable 25% reduction in weight compared to the previous Carbon Pro model. The XLT's ultra-lightweight design is made possible by its innovative construction, which ensures that safety is not compromised despite its reduced weight. The FHR device features a new style 'Twist Anchor' fastening system, making it easier to clip and unclips, providing added convenience for the driver. Available in 20° (Medium or Large) for use in saloon/GT applications or 30° (Medium or Large) for use in most formula and sports cars where the seating position is more reclined. The Medium size corresponds to a collar size of 15"-18.5" (38-47cm), while the Large size applies to collars above 18" (46cm). FIA 8858-2010 Approved, this FHR device comes with a pair of helmet clips (posts) that must be fitted to your helmet to allow correct fitment of the device. The device will not connect to other types of helmet clip. It is essential to note that competitors competing in Motorsport UK-sanctioned events are required to use an FHR, while circuit racing drivers in post 1976 cars must also use an FHR. Furthermore, for pre-1977 cars, the use of an FHR is highly recommended. Demon Tweeks strongly recommends using harnesses with 2/3" or 2" wide shoulder straps to provide the best fit with all FHR's.
