The Tillett B7 is a lightweight, ultra-performance carbon fibre competition seat designed for drivers seeking to reduce vehicle weight and improve handling. With its sleek, aerodynamic design and dimensions similar to the popular B6 model, it offers an impressive weight of just 3.8kg, making it one of the lightest FIA homologated seats available. This low weight not only benefits taller drivers by positioning them lower in the car but also assists in reducing a vehicle's overall centre of gravity. The B7's narrow design is perfect for compact cockpit cars like Caterham, Westfield, and Lotus Elise, ensuring optimal performance without sacrificing comfort. The body-hugging shell shape provides high levels of support and feedback to the driver while accommodating various body types and sizes. Standard size is suitable for drivers up to 100kg with a 36" waist, while XL size caters to drivers up to 130kg with a 40" waist. Manufactured in the UK using advanced twin-skin technology, the B7 offers exceptional rigidity and increased chassis feedback for an exhilarating driving experience. Despite its narrow width, it comfortably accommodates most driver shapes and sizes, thanks to its high side bolsters that provide both lateral support and impact protection for legs. The ergonomic shape of the B7 ensures optimum support even without padding, while its compatibility with 4, 5, and 6-point belts and FHR (HANS) devices adds an additional layer of safety. For a snug fit in tight cockpits, the 40cm width variant has the external rolled edge removed. A standard Dinamica suede headrest pad is included with purchase, and a separate 2-piece pad set trimmed in Dinamica suede can be purchased for added comfort. The B7 meets FIA 8855-1999 approval standards and offers a combination of lightweight design, high performance, and uncompromised safety for the most demanding drivers.
