Manufactured from Chromoly (25CrMo4) steel, this lightweight version offers increased strength and reduced weight, making it an excellent choice for competition applications. The Sparco multi point weld in roll cage is engineered to provide increased protection to vehicle occupants while adding structural rigidity to the body shell, resulting in improved handling and safety. The roll cage's multiple attachment points to the body shell, including front suspension turrets, ensure superior torsional rigidity, allowing for enhanced handling and safety. This multi point weld in roll cage is designed to attach to various points on the vehicle body shell, providing unparalleled structural integrity. Sparco's multi point weld in roll cages represent the pinnacle of technology, surpassing the minimum limits imposed by the FIA by as much as 150%. These cages are required to be wholly welded to the body shell and come with special plates and boxed parts for a seamless integration with the car. Only a competent welder with experience in fitting roll cages should install this type of weld-in cage. The main rollover hoop is constructed from 50mm diameter tubing x 2mm thick, while other tubes are either 50mm diameter x 2mm thick or 40mm x 2mm depending on homologation type.
