hans III HANS Device - Size Large

The Hans III HANS Device, designed to replicate the top-level devices used in Formula 1, is now available in a more affordable polymer material. This entry-level device features a hollow collar that reduces its weight, making it the lightest option on the market. Its compact design makes it suitable for most saloons, GT's, and rally cars, as well as any other application with a more upright seating position. The Hans III is available in two recline angles: 20 degrees, ideal for most saloons, GT's, and rally cars; and 30 degrees, suitable for most single seater, formula cars, and sports prototypes. It comes in two sizes: Medium, designed for collars up to 17" (43cm) in size, and Large, for collars over 17" (43cm) in size. The Hans III boasts a lightweight design of 800g for the Medium size and 850g for the Large size, including padding and tethers. It is FIA 8858-2010 approved and suitable for all Motorsport UK-sanctioned events. For competitors participating in Motorsport UK events, it's essential to note that all stage rally competitors must use an FHR. Circuit racing drivers in post-1976 cars must also use an FHR, while pre-1977 cars highly recommend the use of an FHR. Demon Tweeks recommends harnesses with 2/3" or 2" wide shoulder straps for optimal fit and comfort.
