Simpson Hybrid Sport Head & Neck Restraint - Medium - Hans Post fitment

The Simpson Hybrid Sport Head and Neck Restraint is a cutting-edge, FIA 8858-2010 approved device that offers unparalleled protection during front, offset, and side impacts. This innovative restraint system has been designed to provide easy exit from the car without getting hung up on other gear, sitting comfortably on your back/shoulders rather than over the chest or collarbone. The Hybrid Sport is an evolution of the Hybrid Pro Rage, boasting improved design and technology at the same price point as the old model. Weighing 20% less for the large, including hardware, this device offers a sleek, modern, and appealing DuPont carbon/polymer construction with defined wings for better harness containment. The sliding tethers and multi-tether system provide an enhanced side-to-side range of movement and field of vision, making it ideal for rally drivers and circuit racing enthusiasts. The Hybrid Sport boasts both SFI 38.1 and FIA certifications, ensuring that you're protected from all angles. This device offers a low profile with no high back to hook on the bars on exit, providing a minimalist design that is compact and easy to use. With multiple load paths to dissipate head loads, buckle attachment in front, and no bulky straps underneath, this restraint system provides unrivalled angular impact protection and device stability. The Hybrid Sport is supplied ready to fit to your existing FIA Hans posts or can be specified with optional M61 quick release tethers/anchors. These M61 anchors are fitted in place of your original Hans posts, providing a convenient quick-release option for helmets that have standard fitment HANS anchors already fitted (or the correct approval to retro-fit anchors). Both the M61 helmet anchors and the quick release tethers/straps are included with the M61 Quick Release Option. This allows drivers to use the Hybrid device with helmets that have standard fitment HANS anchors, providing ideal solutions for rallying and circuit racing. Approved for helmets FIA 8858-2002/FIA 8858-2010 standard or higher, this restraint system weighs approximately 956 grams complete, making it a highly efficient and reliable solution. For competitors in Motorsport events sanctioned by Motorsport UK, all stage rally competitors must use an FHR, and circuit racing drivers in post-1976 cars must use an FHR. Demon Tweeks highly recommends harnesses with 2/3" or 2" wide shoulder straps for use with all FHRs to provide the best fit.
