The sliding tethers and multi-tether system enhance side-to-side range of motion and field of vision, providing unrivalled angular impact protection and device stability. The Hybrid Sport is certified by both SFI 38.1 and FIA, offering increased visibility and unrivalled angular impact protection. Its minimalist design and compact size (under 7) make it suitable for multiple load paths to dissipate head loads. The buckle attachment in front eliminates bulky straps underneath, ensuring a seamless experience. This device is supplied ready to fit to your existing FIA Hans posts or can be specified with optional M61 quick release tethers/anchors. Both the M61 helmet anchors and quick release tethers are included with the M61 Quick Release Option. The Hybrid Sport is approved for helmets FIA 8858-2002/FIA 8858-2010 standard or higher, making it an ideal choice for those who prioritize both safety and performance. The M61 Quick Release Option allows drivers to use the Hybrid device with helmets that have standard fitment HANS anchors already fitted (or the correct approval to retro-fit anchors). This results in a seamless experience, making it an excellent choice for those who participate in rallying where the helmet may be taken on and off more frequently. The weight of this device is approximately 956 grams complete, making it both efficient and effective. Its FIA 8858-2010 approval makes it suitable for car enthusiasts who prioritize safety and performance. For competitors competing in Motorsport events sanctioned by Motorsport UK, all stage rally competitors must use an FHR, and circuit racing drivers in post-1976 cars must use an FHR. For circuit racing drivers in pre-1977 cars, an FHR is highly recommended. Demonstrations Tweeks highly recommends harnesses with 2/3" or 2" wide shoulder straps for use with all FHRs to provide the best fit.
