The Simpson Female Specific Hybrid Pro Lite device has been designed specifically for female motorsport competitors, taking into account their unique needs and providing superior protection while ensuring fit and comfort. The Simpson Hybrid devices are the only ones approved by the FIA 8858-2010 standard that provide protection in front, offset, and side impacts. The Hybrid Pro Lite is designed to facilitate easy exiting of the car without getting hung up on other gear, sitting comfortably on the back/shoulders rather than over the chest or collarbone. The Hybrid Pro Lite features a powerful design that is 30% lighter than the original Hybrid Pro, making it the lightest Hybrid Frontal Head Restraint available. It boasts an efficient tether system design for smooth side-to-side motion and offers a thinner back plate, encapsulated tie plates, and graceful tether grooves. The Simpson Female Specific Hybrid Pro Lite provides maximum comfort and manoeuvrability, featuring a full size range of XS-XL to ensure a comfortable, custom-like fit for all racers. Chuck Davies, CEO of Simpson Performance Products, emphasized the rigorous testing undergone by the Hybrid restraints, ensuring they can perform and protect in real-world racing conditions. The device's design offers increased visibility, thanks to its high-quality carbon fibre construction, unrivalled angular impact protection, and stability. Its low profile ensures no high back to hook on the bars during exit, making it compact and minimalist. The Hybrid Pro Lite is supplied ready to fit to existing FIA Hans posts or can be specified with optional M61 quick release tethers/anchors. These M61 anchors are fitted in place of original Hans posts, providing a convenient option for drivers. The M61 helmet anchors and quick release tethers/straps are included with the M61 Quick Release Option. The Hybrid Pro Lite is FIA 8858-2010 approved, making it an ideal choice for Motorsport UK competitors. Note that all stage rally competitors must use an FHR, while circuit racing drivers in post-1976 cars must also use an FHR. Demon Tweeks highly recommends harnesses with 2/3" or 2" wide shoulder straps for use with all FHRs to provide the best fit.
