The Simpson Hybrid Pro Lite Head and Neck Restraint provides unparalleled protection and comfort for car enthusiasts. As the only FIA 8858-2010 approved device on the market, it offers superior protection during front, offset, and side impacts. Designed to facilitate easy exit from the car without getting hung up on other gear, this restraint sits on your back/shoulders rather than over the chest or collarbone like traditional HANS-type devices. The Hybrid Pro Lite features a powerful design that is 30% lighter than the original Hybrid Pro, making it the lightest Hybrid Frontal Head Restraint available. Made in the USA from high-quality, ultralight carbon, this device boasts the lowest profile in the industry. Its efficient tether system design ensures smooth side-to-side motion, while its thinner back plate, encapsulated tie plates, and graceful tether grooves all work together to provide a multi-tasking device that protects with proven, tested, and retested technology. A full-size range of XS-XL provides a comfortable, custom-like fit for all racers. The Hybrid Pro Lite is supplied ready to fit to your existing FIA Hans posts or can be specified with optional M61 quick release tethers/anchors. These M61 anchors are fitted in place of your original Hans posts. The M61 helmet anchors and quick release tethers/straps are included with the M61 Quick Release Option, allowing drivers to use the Hybrid device with helmets that have standard fitment HANS anchors already fitted (or the correct approval to retro-fit anchors). Approved for helmets FIA 8858-2002/FIA 8858-2010 standard or higher, this restraint is ideal for rallying where the helmet may be taken on and off more frequently. With an approximate weight of 850 grams complete, the Hybrid Pro Lite meets the FIA 8858-2010 approved standards. Note that for competitors competing in Motorsport UK-sanctioned events, all stage rally competitors must use an FHR, while circuit racing drivers in post-1976 cars must use an FHR. Demon Tweeks highly recommends harnesses with 2/3" or 2" wide shoulder straps for use with all FHRs to provide the best fit.
