The Simpson Hybrid Sport Youth Head and Neck Restraint is designed to provide unparalleled safety for children aged 4-6 years who participate in competitive racing. As parents, we understand the importance of ensuring our young ones are protected while competing in Autgrass or Oval Racing events. This restraint is specifically designed with fixed tethers (non-adjustable) that provide a sense of security and peace of mind. The Hybrid Sport Youth boasts several features that make it an ideal choice for young racers. Firstly, its low profile ensures maximum comfort and manoeuvrability while competing. It's compatible with helmets featuring standard FHR clips or can be special ordered with quick release fittings at the time of ordering. Please note that these fittings cannot be retro-fitted like adult versions. The Hybrid Series is designed to protect against front, offset, and side impacts, offering a unique combination of safety and comfort. Its versatility allows it to be used with 2" or 3" harnesses, eliminating the need for special seats or harnesses. Additionally, units can be painted to match your colour scheme. The Hybrid Sport Youth is supplied ready to fit onto existing FIA Hans posts or can be specified with optional M61 quick release tethers/anchors. These anchors are fitted in place of original Hans posts and include both the M61 helmet anchors and quick release tethers/straps. The Hybrid device is approved for helmets meeting FIA 8858-2002/FIA 8858-2010 standards or higher, ensuring that it meets rigorous safety standards. The M61 Quick Release Option allows drivers to release the restraint by a simple pull on the cord attached to the helmet, making it ideal for where the helmet may be taken on and off more frequently. The Simpson Hybrid Sport Youth is available in three sizes: X-Small Child (4-6 years), Child (7-9 years), and Youth (9-12 years). Please note that all sizes are SFI Approved.
