Massively enhanced stopping power and huge heat fade resistance make this big brake kit ideal for both fast-road and track-day usage. A Revo Mono-4/Mono-6 Big Brake kit is a comprehensive upgrade package from Revo that replaces your car's factory calipers, discs, and pads with much bigger, higher-performing parts. The Mono-bloc aluminium calipers from Alcon allow the use of much bigger discs and pads, resulting in more brake pad in contact with more disc surface. This translates to more friction, which means you'll stop sooner. The calipers are machined as a single piece out of T6061, ensuring optimal control and braking feel for the driver. The high-end calipers are paired with crescent-grooved two-piece floating discs, essential for a braking setup that can stand up to heavy, prolonged braking. A floating disc design separates the rotor and hub of the disc, allowing the rotor to expand outwards with heat without warping. Ferodo's DS Performance Compound is used as the high-performance brake pad, designed for fast-road use and offering outstanding road-use characteristics. This compound retains many features from Ferodo's track pads, including a high friction coefficient and excellent heat resistance. The brake lines are provided by Goodridge, using braided steel lines that keep flex down to a minimum, ensuring no effort is wasted. The Motul Dot 5.1 fully synthetic brake fluid has a dry boiling point of almost 270 degrees, making it up to the stresses placed on it. This combination of high-end components provides strong, consistent, and fade-free brake action, along with excellent brake feel.
