Rix Engineering Spherical Bearing Alloy Top Mounts - Escort Mk2 Eccentric

Rix Engineering spherical bearing alloy top mounts are specifically designed for Escort Mk2 eccentric systems. The key difference between these mounts and O/E mounts lies in the spherical bearing, which replaces the rubber bushing to maintain location. This results in a significant improvement in suspension geometry and handling.

The single-piece machined alloy body is incredibly strong and suitable for motorsport use. Two versions of these top mounts are available: concentric and eccentric.

• Concentric: These mounts do not allow for adjustment of caster or camber angles, making them ideal for standard diameter or race diameter springs.
• Eccentric: These adjustable mounts enable alteration of castor and camber angles, but are exclusively designed for use with race diameter springs.

These alloy top mounts are sold individually, providing an upgrade to your suspension system. The spherical bearing ensures that the top of the strut remains stationary, thereby maintaining the suspension geometry and handling of the car.
