Ring UV Dyes - Coolant System

The Ring UV Dyes are a comprehensive solution designed to detect leaks quickly and easily in various automotive systems. These dyes offer a choice of options, covering the oil and fuel systems, coolant systems, air conditioning systems, and surface water leaks. For the oil and fuel systems, the UV dye can detect leaks in hydraulic, engine oil and petrol/diesel fluids. It is suitable for all oil types, including mineral, semi-synthetic, and synthetic oils. One 25ml bottle treats 8-10 litres of petrol engine oil, 3-5 litres of diesel engine engine oil, 10 litres of hydraulic fluid or 15 litres of petrol/diesel fuel. For the coolant system, the UV dye can detect leaks in water pipes and radiators. One 25ml bottle treats 10 litres of OAT (pink) or IAT (yellow). Surface water leaks can be detected by spraying the UV dye directly onto bodywork and window seals using a spray bottle. One 25ml bottle dilutes with 10 litres of water. For refrigerant systems, the UV dye can detect any refrigerant leaks from the system using the dye injector. Five millilitres are needed for 250ml of refrigerant. Please note that engineers conducting A/C tests must be F-Gas registered. These dyes are safe to leave in any system, and flushing and refilling is not necessary unless required to repair the leak. Accessories include an inline dye injector for use with the Air Conditioning System Dye, and a cleaner/degreaser to clean up excess dye. UV light is required to show the leaks. The Ring UV Dyes are designed to provide quick and easy detection of leaks in various automotive systems, making it easier to identify and repair issues before they become major problems.
