Quaife Vauxhall/Opel F16/F18/F20 2 Speed Dog Engagement Close Ratio Gear Kit - Option 2 Gear Ratios 5.180 Final Drive

Quaife's close ratio gear kit is designed specifically for high-performance applications, such as Autograss or short circuit racing. This comprehensive kit features straight cut gears with dog engagement and is compatible with the original 5-speed F16, F18, and F20 gear casing found in various Vauxhall/Opel models like Astra, Kadett, Cavalier, Vectra, and Calibra. The Quaife kit comes complete with a replacement heavy-duty end cover, selectors, and a crown wheel and pinion. The kit provides rapid gear changes thanks to its dog engagement feature, making it ideal for high-performance applications where quick gear shifts are crucial. The input shaft has a 7/8" x 20 tooth spline table, making it compatible with the original gear casing. This kit is recommended to be used in conjunction with the Quaife Gear lever and turret assembly to achieve the most precise gear changes.

There are two options for the final drive ratio:

Option 1: 2.308 : 1.688
Option 2: 2.910 : 2.071

This kit is designed to provide high-performance enthusiasts with the necessary gear ratios for their specific applications.
