The AeroCatch Panel Fasteners are designed to provide an efficient and aesthetically pleasing solution for panel fixing on Motorsport vehicles. With its PTFE-coated strike pins, the need for regular lubrication is virtually eliminated, making it suitable for use through the base or side of bonnets or boots. There are two types of AeroCatch available: 'Above Panel' (formerly called Plus Flush) and 'Below Panel' (formerly called Flush). Both types are offered in black, white, or carbon look and come with a choice of locking or non-locking options. The Above Panel Kit (120 Series) is designed to be fixed through the top surface of a panel with six M4 countersunk screws. The fitting flange will be 2.5mm above the panel surface, making it ideal for thin metallic or composite panels. On the other hand, the Below Panel Kit (125 Series) is designed to be fixed from underneath the panel, creating a flush surface, and can be bonded into position so that there are no fasteners visible from the top of the panel. This makes it ideally suited for composite panels.
