The Quaife Vauxhall/Opel F16/F18/F20 5 Speed Close Ratio Gear Kit - Option 1, features a unique design that caters specifically to the original 5 speed gear casing found in various Vauxhall and Opel models such as Astra, Kadett Cavalier, Vectra, and Calibra. This comprehensive kit comes with a replacement heavy-duty end cover, selectors, and a crown wheel and pinion, offering a range of final drive ratios. The dog engagement system incorporated into this gear kit enables rapid gear changes, allowing for smoother transmission performance. We recommend pairing this kit with the Quaife Gear lever and turret assembly to achieve the most precise gear shifts. Additionally, please note that the input shaft has a 7/8" x 20 tooth spline table. The provided gear ratios for Option 1 are:

Ratio: 2.308
1st gear: 1.688
3rd gear: 1.389
4th gear: 1.200
5th gear: 1.045

For Option 2, the ratios are:

Ratio: 2.910
1st gear: 2.071
3rd gear: 1.389
4th gear: 1.200
5th gear: 0.970
