The ATB units are designed using the latest CAD techniques and CNC machined to ultra-tight tolerances from high-quality Corus steel billets. The completed units undergo rigorous in-house inspection with 3D coordinate measuring machines, resulting in a long-lasting and reliable product. The Quaife ATB Helical LSD differential is suitable for all forms of motorsport and road use, eliminating harsh torque steer and understeering characteristics associated with other types of LSDs. The gear-operated unit replaces the standard open differential, ensuring no plates to wear or break. Furthermore, it requires no special maintenance or rebuilds, using the standard method of lubrication. The Quaife ATB Helical LSD Differential offers proven performance in rallying, racing, and on-road use, delivering safe and reliable results. The product comes with a lifetime warranty for road or competition use, requiring registration via the manufacturer's website. When fitted into a standard FWD or 4WD gearbox, the recommended oil is found in the vehicle manufacturer's handbook. For Quaife internals, the recommended oil is Fuchs Titan SYN5 75W90, and for rear axles, Fuchs Titan SYN5 75W90 or Hypoid 90 equivalent are suitable.
