The Pirelli P7 Corsa Classic Tyre is a highly regarded and exciting tarmac rally tyre, inspired by the groundbreaking P7 rally tyre developed in the 1970's. This innovative tyre features two tread designs in one, providing outstanding performance in all weather conditions. The semi slick outer ensures exceptional grip and control on dry surfaces, while the inner tread block pattern is designed to handle damp or wet conditions. The P7 Corsa Classic sidewall imitates the style from the original, with a double set of size markings that comply with approvals for use on road sections. This tyre is specifically designed for Group 4 and Group B cars from the late 1970's to mid 1980's, using 13", 15", 16" or 17" diameter rims up to 11" wide. Some of the fitments available include: Audi Quattro, Fiat 131 Abarth, Lancia Stratos, Lancia Rally 037, Lancia Delta S4, Opel Ascona/Manta 400 and Porsche 911. The tyre is available in a range of compounds to suit various stage conditions: D3 Compound: Suitable for dry conditions and medium or abrasive road surfaces (working temp 70-120 Deg C). This harder compound is ideal for dry conditions and provides excellent grip on medium or abrasive road surfaces. D5 Compound (selected): Suitable for damp or dry conditions, this medium compound performs well on smooth or medium road surfaces (working temp 40-90 Deg C). D7 Compound: Designed for use in damp conditions, this soft compound is ideal for handling challenging weather conditions. W5 Compound: For use in damp or wet conditions on all tarmac road surfaces (working temp 20-80 Deg C), this soft compound provides exceptional grip and control on wet roads.
