The Metalastik Rotoflex rubber drive couplings, commonly referred to as donuts, are top-tier alternatives for the original drive couplings found on a range of classic cars and race vehicles, including Formula Fords. They are particularly well-suited for Motorsport applications due to their heavy-duty variant which incorporates additional metal interleaf plates, enhancing durability and supporting higher torque ratings. These high performance couplings are designed to be drop-in replacements for OEM parts and are available for numerous popular models such as the Lotus Elan, Hillman Imp, Triumph GT6, and Hewland transaxle-equipped race cars. It is important to note that these Metalastik Rotoflex rubber drive couplings come with a pre-fitted steel retaining band; however, this must be removed after installation. Each coupling is sold separately.
