BSCI Energy Impact Systems Seat Insert Kit - 36 Litre Kit

The BSCI Energy Impact Systems (EIS) Seat Insert Kit is a game-changer in the world of motorsport seating, having proven its worth on race car seats across major racing series worldwide. With applications in LMP1, LMP2, GT & Sportscars and single seaters alike, this FIA-homologated (technical lists #17 and #50) solution is suitable for a wide range of competition cars and rally vehicles. The BSCI material offers superior impact absorption properties as well as fire resistance, ensuring greater safety for drivers during collisions. This two-part liquid system sets itself apart from traditional beaded seat kits in several key ways: it forms perfectly around the driver's body with no solid matter to compromise fit; it does not shrink, crack or become brittle over time; and it is the only mouldable insert kit on the market made of EC-50 FIA-compliant foam. The kit includes all necessary components for a professional, clean and quick installation process, resulting in customised support tailored to individual drivers. Advantages of EIS over other seat kits: - The EIS system undergoes rigorous testing to meet SFI 45.2 standards for impact and flammability. - Installation time is significantly less compared to beaded seats. - As a liquid initially, the material conforms to every contour of the body, ensuring accurate moulding for optimal comfort and support. - The resilient material does not require replacement after an impact, making it a long-lasting solution. - Its slow foaming rate allows more time for perfect positioning in the seat, enhancing driver comfort and safety. The EIS Seat Insert Kit is available in five sizes to accommodate various vehicle types: 27 litre (Small) for base pads or lower back pieces; 36 litre (Medium) for bucket seats with partial insert for second drivers; 53 litre (Large) for full bucket seat inserts for small single-seaters such as FF and Jedi; 72 litre (X Large) for single-seater F3/F4/FF or prototypes; and 95 litre (XX Large) for large single-seater vehicles/prototypes/Sportscar GTEs. Each seat kit includes: 2 containers of foam (part A and part B), sheets of EC-50 foam (number of sheets and thickness dependent on the kit size), 1 roll of double-sided adhesive tape, 1 roll of black gaffer tape, 1 plastic bag, CarbonX material to cover the seat and 1 mixing tool.
