Nimbus Lite is suitable for a variety of applications within the automotive industry, including: - Steering Racks: Protect your steering system from high heat generation by installing Nimbus Lite Heat Shields around them. - Underfloor Protection: Place underfloor to shield vital components and improve overall vehicle performance. - Spare Wheel Wells: Securely cover spare wheel wells to prevent damage from heat emanating from the engine compartment. - Fuel Tank: Safeguard fuel tanks from direct heat exposure with the Nimbus Lite Heat Shield's excellent thermal insulation properties. - Exhaust Hangers/Heat Shields: Reinforce and insulate exhaust hangers and heat shields to maintain their structural integrity and reduce heat transfer. - Under Seat Protection: Keep seats cool and comfortable by installing Nimbus Lite Heat Shields beneath them to deflect heat emanating from the engine bay. Nimbus Lite Heat Shield is available in three sizes, each with approximate weights as follows: 457mm x 580mm (approx. 330g), 580mm x 914mm (approx. 660g) and 1160mm x 914mm (approx. 1320g). The material has a thickness of 0.4mm, with an overall thickness of 3.6mm.
