Mocal Oil Stat - 1/2 NPT Female Ports

The Mocal Oil Stat is a thermostatically controlled device designed to be installed in the oil cooler pipes, regulating the flow of oil to the cooler. These stats remain closed until an optimal operating temperature of 80 degrees Celsius (176 degrees Fahrenheit) is achieved. At this point, they open up, allowing oil to circulate through the cooler. By doing so, the engine oil can heat up more efficiently, contributing to a quicker warm-up time for your vehicle's engine. This improved temperature control not only helps in reducing wear on internal engine components but also enhances fuel efficiency by increasing MPG (miles per gallon). For hassle-free installation, these oil stats are available with various pipe fittings; they can accommodate both push-on pipes and threaded ends for different pipe configurations.
