The Mocal VR Series Roll Over Valve is a vital component for ensuring fuel system safety in racing applications. Its 3/4UNF 9-degree male to -6 JIC straight male configuration allows easy installation, while its robust construction and anodised coating provide reliable corrosion resistance. This valve serves two primary functions: as a roll over valve, it shuts off the tank breather when the tank angle exceeds 90 degrees vertical, protecting against fuel loss during extreme manoeuvres. As a standard vent valve, it enables the tank to 'breathe' and release vapour during refuelling or other pressure changes, maintaining optimal fuel system performance. The valve's by-pass system is designed to withstand up to 200mbar of pressure, preventing potentially damaging build-up within the fuel tank in case of a vehicle rollover. Additionally, this valve conforms to FIA regulations, ensuring compliance during scrutineering and at racing events. The 90-degree bend in its design enables it to fit into tighter spaces, making it suitable for various race car configurations.
