These Mocal Oil Take Off Plates are designed for use in applications where engine space is at a premium and the installation of a remote oil filter is necessary. The top ports of these plates feature 5/8" UNF threads, making them suitable for popular vehicle makes such as BMC A-Series RWD (Sprite, Midget, Minor, Marina, Ital), BMW, most Fords, VAG Group, Toyota, American V8, Rover K-Series, Rover 3500 with pre SD1 engine, Rover MGF, Lotus Exige/Elise, Talbot, Simca, Peugeot 1.1 litre, Vauxhall / Opel (most engines with spin on filter post 1981), Citroen, Peugeot XU, TU, Subaru Impreza, Mitsubishi, Honda Civic / Integra Type R, Mazda, Renault. Fiat, and Alfa Romeo models. The plates screw onto the engine in place of the original oil filter location and come with two female ports, which can accommodate either 1/2" BSP or M22 x 1.5 threads. To connect the oil filter to these plates, a range of male-to-male adaptors and hose fittings are available for purchase separately.
