Mocal Sandwich Plates for 3/4 UNF Filter with 1/2 BSP Ports and Thermostat provide an efficient way to integrate remote oil devices, such as oil coolers, into your vehicle's engine system. Designed specifically for vehicles featuring spin-on oil filters, these sandwich plates fit seamlessly between the oil filter and engine, securing in place via a male/female centre bolt that also allows the oil filter to be screwed into position. These plates provide an oil feed and return for external oil coolers, making them suitable for engines with screw-on oil filters. With options available for most engine types, you can choose from 1/2" BSP or M22 x 1.5 inlet/outlet port configurations. Additionally, a range of plumbing adaptors are available separately to ensure seamless integration. The sandwich plates cater to oil filters with a 76mm diameter and are suitable for engines with various oil filter thread types. You can find a range of suitable oil filters HERE. Thermostatic versions of the sandwich plates are also available, featuring a wax stat that only allows oil to flow to the cooler once the temperature reaches 80°C.
