Micro Dynamics Rev Master - Single Coil Version With Full Throttle Gear Shift

The Micro Dynamics Rev Master is a state-of-the-art, microprocessor-controlled soft cut rev limiter that safeguards your engine against accidental over-revving. It caters to engines with 1-8 cylinders and a negative earth ignition system triggered by either contact breaker or electronic ignition. Please note, it is not compatible with capacitor discharge ignition systems. Installation and setup of the Rev Master are hassle-free: Simply rev your engine until it reaches half its desired limit, then press the red button to activate it. Two variants are available: one for single coil ignition systems and another for twin coil/distributorless systems. Moreover, the Rev Master can be further enhanced with a full throttle gear shift feature. This function limits engine speed when the clutch is engaged, eliminating the need to lift your foot off the accelerator pedal during gear shifts, ultimately enabling faster transitions. The supplied Rev Master arrives in a sturdy, reusable hard plastic case for added protection. To ensure proper selection of the rev limiter type, kindly examine your engine's ignition layout. Cars equipped with plug leads for each cylinder and a coil lead require the single coil version; conversely, vehicles featuring coil packs necessitate the twin coil version (for four-cylinder engines without coil leads). If your vehicle has coils on the plug instead of separate plug leads, the Rev Master will not be compatible.
