Lumenition Engine Rev Limiter

The Lumenition engine rev limiter is an essential accessory for safeguarding your engine's performance and longevity. This innovative device prevents the engine from over-revving by limiting the maximum RPM at which it can operate, ensuring that it consistently produces full power while maintaining protection against harmful over-revving. Suitable for a wide range of engines with single coil inductive ignition systems (contact breaker or electronic), this rev limiter is perfect for use with optronic and performance ignition systems but can be easily adapted to fit any engine up to 12 cylinders. Installation is simple and straightforward, requiring just three wires to connect for seamless integration into your vehicle's existing electrical system. With adjustable rev limit settings, this rev limiter allows you to fine-tune its performance to suit the specific requirements of your engine. The device comes pre-set with standard rev limits of 5500 rpm for 4-cylinder engines, 3667 rpm for 6-cycle engines, and 2750 rpm for 8-cylinder engines, but these settings can be effortlessly customised via the screw on the side of the unit. Adjust the rev limit by turning the screw clockwise to increase the limit or anti-clockwise to decrease it, enabling you to select from the following ranges: 4 cylinder: 4500 18000 rpm6 cylinder: 3000 12000 rpm8 cylinder: 2250 9000 rpm12 cylinder: 1500 6000 rpm
