The Micro Dynamics Rev Master Twin Coil Version without Full Throttle Gear Shift is a sophisticated microprocessor-controlled soft cut rev limiter, specifically designed to protect engines in vehicles with 1-8 cylinders. This product is suitable for engines using negative earth ignition systems triggered by either contact breaker or electronic ignition (it's not compatible with capacity discharge ignition systems). The installation and setup of the Rev Master are straightforward: simply rev your engine up to half its maximum intended speed and press the red button to set it. For single coil ignition systems, there is a separate option available. However, for twin coil or distributor-less systems, this specific version of the Rev Master is ideal. There's also an alternative version available that includes a full throttle gear change facility, which limits engine speed when you press the clutch, allowing you to change gears faster without needing to take your foot off the accelerator pedal. The Rev Master comes packaged securely in a robust, reusable hard plastic case for added protection during transportation and storage. To correctly identify the type of rev limiter required for your vehicle, carefully examine its ignition layout: cars with individual plug leads and a coil lead will necessitate the single coil version; if there are coil packs, then you'll require the twin coil version (two or four leads for a four-cylinder engine without a separate coil lead).
