The Kumho Ecsta V70A is a high-performance tyre that has been developed using Kumho's vast experience in various motorsport disciplines, including Formula 3, sports car/production car racing, rallycross, and rallying. This tyre is ideal for track days, circuit racing, sprints, and hill climbs. The Ecsta V70A has already proven its credentials on the track, having been chosen as the control tyre for several one-make series, such as the Kumho BMW Challenge and TVR Tasmin Challenge. As a DOT-approved product, it delivers excellent performance thanks to its advanced silica tread compound, which is available in super soft, soft, medium, and hard compounds. The advanced directional tread design of this tyre offers superior acceleration, braking, and cornering capabilities. Its large lateral and centre channels enable maximum water dispersion, maintaining traction even in shallow standing water or damp conditions. On the inside of the tyre, there are two wide steel belts that provide excellent cornering power and a stable footprint. Additionally, two durable nylon plies offer high-speed stability and resistance to centrifugal forces. Notably, this tyre is E-marked for road use and has been listed in MSA List 1C.
