The K&N Apollo Closed Air Intake System, featuring a universal design, comes equipped with a reusable and washable K&N High-Flow Air Filter. This innovative system seamlessly merges the advantages of an open cone filter and standard air box, all within one unit. Its thoughtfully designed shape enhances volumetric efficiency while effectively reducing heat build-up to keep the intake charge cool. The Apollo's outer shell is constructed from a robust yet lightweight material that helps maintain incoming air temperatures as it enters the combustion chamber. It is accompanied by a cold air hose with a specialized radius end cap, enabling you to direct cooler outside air into the engine for improved performance. The system comes with an array of vent adaptors catering to most engine breathers and temperature sensors from the original air box assembly; sizes include 1/4", 3/8", 1/2" and 5/8" outside diameter, along with a blanking plug for applications where a vent adapter is not necessary. This versatile system is suitable for normally aspirated engines with a power output of up to 250BHP and turbocharged engines boasting up to 350BHP.
