The Kaaz Limited Slip Differential is designed to provide a huge increase in traction compared to a standard open differential. With its optimized performance during acceleration and lighter lock-up on deceleration, this 1.5 way unit suits smoother driving styles. Despite being less aggressive on deceleration, many racers still use this type for competitive Motorsports such as drifting or gymkhana events. The Kaaz Limited Slip Differential is available in two variants: 1.5 and 2 ways. The difference lies in their lock-up during deceleration. The 2-way unit has a more aggressive lock, making it the favourite for drifting, gymkhana, or rallying. The 1.5 way is suitable for track day cars or performance cars that also get used on the road. This LSD is available with standard or Super Q options. Both variants offer the same performance, but the Super Q variant features clutch plates treated with a WPC finish, reducing chatter and clunking noises associated with plate-type LSDs. This results in a smoother locking action, perfect for cars used on the road. The WPC treatment eliminates the need to 'break in' the differential and reduces clutch plate wear, leading to longer service intervals.
