The Fuelab High Flow In-Line Fuel Filter 848xx Series, featuring an integrated check valve, is designed to offer smooth performance in high flow and high pressure fuel systems. With a 200GPH flow capacity and the ability to handle up to 200PSI, this filter is perfect for maintaining fuel pressure on engine shut down and during start up, while preventing vapour build-up in your fuel rails during cooling. The filter features end fittings ranging from -6 JIC to -8 JIC, making it versatile for different applications, and a billet aluminium casing that comes in various colours to match your engine components. The removable end plate allows for easy replacement of the 3" filter element (sold separately), which is available in multiple micron ratings: 10, 40, 75, and 6 microns. The 10-micron paper element, made from cellulose, offers excellent filtration for both petrol and diesel fuel types but is disposable. The 40-micron stainless steel element, suitable for harsh racing conditions, can be cleaned and may not require replacement for maintenance. It is compatible with E85 and methanol fuels. The 75-micron stainless steel element should only be used as a pre-filter for fuel pumps, preventing pump cavitation while maintaining an extremely low pressure drop. This filter is also compatible with E85 and methanol fuels. For optimal protection of injectors and carburettors downstream of the fuel pump, it's recommended to use a finer micron rated element (sold separately). The integrated check valve assembly protects the components during operation, ensuring reliable performance for the life of your filter.
