The Fuelab High Flow In-Line Fuel Filter (848xx Series) is an integral part of your vehicle's fuel system, offering excellent filtration and pressure maintenance. Its high flow capacity of 200GPH caters to high demand systems, while its maximum handling pressure of 200PSI ensures reliable operation even in high-pressure environments. This particular model features an integrated check valve that not only helps maintain fuel pressure during engine shutdown and startup but also prevents vapor buildup within your fuel rails during cooling. The filter comes with end fittings ranging from -6 JIC to -8 JIC, allowing for easy installation onto various fuel line sizes. The billet aluminium casing offers both durability and customization, as you can choose from a variety of colors to match your engine's aesthetic. Its removable end plate simplifies maintenance, enabling you to easily replace the 3-inch filter element (sold separately). The available filter elements include: 10 Micron / Paper Element (Cellulose): An economical and widely used option that provides excellent filtration for petrol and diesel engines. 40 Micron / Stainless Steel Element: Designed for harsh racing conditions, this cleanable element offers ultimate fuel compatibility with E85 and Methanol fuels. 75 Micron / Stainless Steel Element: Primarily used as a pre-filter to protect fuel pumps from cavitation, it has an extremely low pressure drop and is compatible with E85 and Methanol fuels. 6 Micron / Micro-Fiberglass Element: The most advanced element offers extra particle protection and improved filter efficiency for E85 and Methanol engines. Please note that a finer micron rated element is recommended to protect injectors and carburetors downstream of the fuel pump.
