The Fuelab High Flow In-Line Fuel Filter (848xx Series) is an essential component in your vehicle's fuel system. This filter, with its integrated check valve, guarantees continuous fuel flow and maintains fuel pressure even when the engine or pump shuts down. The check valve further ensures that fuel pressure remains steady during engine start-up, preventing vapors from accumulating in your fuel rails during engine cooling. These filters boast a remarkable 200GPH flow capacity and can handle up to 200PSI for optimal performance in high flow and high pressure systems. The check valve assembly's integrated design ensures its protection, while the available end fittings range from -6 JIC to -8 JIC to accommodate different vehicle specifications. The billet aluminum casing comes in various colors, allowing you to match your engine components for a cohesive look. The removable end plate simplifies filter element replacement or cleaning, with separate purchases of 3" filter elements available for convenience. Choose from three different filter element options: 1. 10-micron Paper Element (Cellulose): Economical and commonly used, this disposable element offers excellent filtration and is suitable for petrol and diesel fuel types only. 2. 40-micron Stainless Steel Element: Designed for harsh racing conditions and ultimate fuel compatibility, it's cleanable and may not necessitate replacement for maintenance. Compatible with E85 and Methanol fuel types. 3. 75-micron Stainless Steel Element: Recommended as a pre-filter for fuel pumps to prevent cavitation with minimal pressure drop, it's suitable for E85 and Methanol fuel types. A finer micron rated element is recommended to protect injectors and carburetters downstream of the pump. 4. 6-micron Micro-Fiberglass Element: The most advanced option, this disposable element provides extra particle protection and improves filter efficiency for reduced maintenance requirements. Suitable for E85 and Methanol fuel types. All Fuelab products come with a Forever Fixed warranty, covering the original purchaser against all material or workmanship defects.
