The Fuelab High Flow In-Line Fuel Filter (848xx Series) is designed specifically for high flow and high pressure fuel systems. With an integrated check valve, this filter ensures that fuel pressure is maintained during engine shut down as well as during start up. The check valve also helps prevent vapors from accumulating in your fuel rails during engine cooling. This filter can handle a maximum flow capacity of 200GPH and can withstand a pressure range of up to 200PSI, making it ideal for use in high performance vehicles. The end fittings on this fuel filter come in sizes ranging from -6 JIC to -8 JIC, allowing for versatile installation options. The billet aluminium casing is available in various colours to suit your engine components' aesthetic. Additionally, the removable end plate allows for easy replacement of the 3" filter element when needed. Replacement elements are also available for purchase separately. This range offers several filter element options: - 10 micron / Paper Element (Cellulose): This is the most economical and commonly used element, providing excellent filtration. It's disposable and compatible with petrol and diesel fuel types only. - 40 micron / Stainless Steel Element: Designed for harsh racing conditions and ultimate fuel compatibility, this cleanable element does not necessarily require replacement for maintenance. It's compatible with E85 and methanol fuel types. - 75 micron / Stainless Steel Element: This filter should only be used as a pre-filter for fuel pumps. It helps prevent pump cavitation with an extremely low pressure drop, ensuring smooth operation. It's also compatible with E85 and methanol fuel types. - 6 micron / Micro-Fiberglass Element: The most advanced filter element offers extra particle protection and improved efficiency, reducing maintenance requirements. This disposable element is not to be cleaned and is compatible with E85 and methanol fuel types. A finer micron rated element is recommended downstream of the fuel pump for optimal protection of injectors and carburettors.
