The Fuelab High Flow In-Line Fuel Filter (818xx Series) is an essential component for maintaining optimal fuel system performance in high flow and high pressure systems. This filter's impressive 200GPH flow capacity ensures uninterrupted fuel delivery, while its robust design enables it to handle up to 200PSI without fail. The black end fittings are JIC (Joint Isolation Coupling) type, with sizes ranging from -10 to -12 for versatile compatibility. The billet aluminium casing not only adds durability but also allows you to customise the filter's appearance by matching it with your engine components. The removable end plate facilitates easy replacement or cleaning of the 3" filter element, which is available separately in a variety of micron ratings and materials for different applications. For everyday use, the 6-micron micro-fiberglass element offers excellent filtration while reducing maintenance requirements through improved efficiency. This disposable yet advanced filter is suitable for petrol and diesel engines. For more demanding conditions such as racing environments, choose between the 10-micron paper element (cellulose) or the 40-micron stainless steel element. The former provides cost-effective filtration and is disposable, while the latter is cleanable and does not require replacement for maintenance - an advantage particularly in harsh fuel conditions. It also supports E85 and methanol fuel types. For use as a pre-filter to protect against pump cavitation, opt for the 75-micron stainless steel element. This filter is compatible with both E85 and methanol fuels and should be used in conjunction with a finer micron rated element downstream of the fuel pump to ensure proper protection for injectors and carburettors.
