The Fuelab High Flow In-Line Fuel Filter (818xx Series) is a premium fuel filtration system designed for use in high flow, high pressure automotive applications. With a 200GPH (gallons per hour) flow rate and a maximum pressure capacity of 200PSI, this filter ensures that your vehicle's fuel supply remains clean and free from contaminants that could potentially damage the engine. The 818xx Series features end fittings available in various JIC sizes (-6 to -12) for ease of installation and compatibility with a wide range of automotive systems. The billet aluminium casing is not only durable but also offers an attractive design, allowing you to match the aesthetic of your engine components. The removable end plate enables easy access to the 3-inch filter element, which can be cleaned or replaced as needed (filter elements are available for separate purchase). You have the option to choose from different filter element types: 10 micron paper element made from cellulose, 40 micron stainless steel element designed for harsh racing conditions and ultimate fuel compatibility, 75 micron stainless steel element recommended as a pre-filter for fuel pumps*, or the most advanced 6 micron micro-fiberglass element offering additional particle protection. The paper element is suitable for both petrol and diesel engines and provides excellent filtration at an economical price, whereas the stainless steel elements are reusable and do not require replacement for maintenance. The 40-micron stainless steel element is compatible with E85 and methanol fuel types, while the 75-micron stainless steel element is recommended specifically for these alternative fuel sources. For optimal protection of downstream components such as injectors and carburettors, a finer micron rated element (e.g., 6 micron micro-fiberglass) should be used in conjunction with the filter. All Fuelab products are backed by our Forever Fixed warranty, which covers the original purchaser against all material or workmanship defects for the lifetime of the product. *Note: A finer micron rated element is recommended to protect injectors and carburettors downstream of the fuel pump.
