The Fuelab 818xx Series In-Line High Flow Fuel Filter is an essential addition to any high flow and high pressure fuel system. This filter is designed for in-line installation, ensuring optimal fuel cleanliness while maintaining a consistent flow rate of up to 200GPH with a maximum operating pressure of 200PSI. The end fittings on this filter are available in various sizes from -6 JIC to -12 JIC, allowing for easy compatibility with most fuel systems. The billet aluminium casing not only adds durability but also comes in a range of colours, enabling you to customise your filter to match the aesthetics of your engine components. The removable end plate allows for simple replacement or cleaning of the 3" filter element (sold separately). Several filter elements are available, each catering to different requirements: - 10 micron / Paper Element (Cellulose): This economical and commonly used element provides excellent filtration for both petrol and diesel fuel types. - 40 micron / Stainless Steel Element: Ideal for harsh racing conditions, this cleanable and maintenance-friendly element is compatible with E85 and methanol fuel types. - 75 micron / Stainless Steel Element: Designed as a pre-filter for fuel pumps, this element helps prevent cavitation in high pressure systems while ensuring compatibility with E85 and methanol fuel types. - 6 micron / Micro-Fiberglass Element: The most advanced filter option, this disposable element offers enhanced particle protection and improved filter efficiency, making it suitable for E85 and methanol fuel types. It is not recommended to clean this element. Please note that a finer micron rated element (e.g., 2 or 1-micron) should be used as a pre-filter to protect downstream components such as injectors and carburettors.
