These Ferodo DS1.11 brake pads are specially designed to deliver a medium to high friction level across a wide temperature range of 200-700 degrees Celsius, ensuring consistent braking performance. Featuring a flat friction curve, they provide predictable and stable braking even during repeated laps. With excellent fade resistance up to 800 degrees Celsius and a low wear rate, these pads offer extended lifespan - up to three times longer than DS3000 compound pads. The short pedal travel and firm feel are achieved through the low pad compression property. Ferodo DS1.11 pads make use of ceramic technology from the Siloxanes chemical family, which does not decompose at high temperatures like carbon-based materials. This allows them to maintain their performance and consistency at even the highest temperatures without experiencing brake fade. Additionally, they are kind to discs, resulting in reduced wear and less frequent brake change requirements. These pads are ideal for use in GT cars, touring cars, and formula cars, particularly during longer races. It is important to note that these brake pads may fit both original equipment calipers from various car manufacturers and aftermarket Motorsport calipers.
