Before switching to Evans Waterless Coolant, it's essential to remove existing water-based coolant from your system. To get the most out of Evans, we recommend that no more than 3% residual water should be present in your coolant.
We've formulated a hygroscopic Prep Fluid designed to flush the system before adding Evans. This fluid is specifically designed to absorb any residual water and remove loose deposits from the cooling system.
Once the Prep Fluid has been drained from the system, store it in an airtight container as it can be used several times. Available in 2litre or 5 litre (please call if you require 25 Litres).
About Evans Waterless Coolant:
The limitations of traditional water-based coolants have been well-documented since the 1930s, with a mixture of water, ethylene glycol (antifreeze), and corrosion inhibitors. These mixtures have inherent physical and chemical limitations that affect engine performance and lead to engine failures.
According to the British Testing Council's Testing Advisory Group, "up to 60% of engine failures can be attributed to cooling system failures", highlighting the need for a better solution!
Evans Waterless Coolant represents a major step forward in engine cooling technology. Over the last 20 years, it has been proven to increase engine reliability, reduce maintenance costs, and improve performance.
The advantages of Evans Waterless Coolant are numerous:
