The Exedy Hyper Single Clutch Kit offers enhanced performance for moderately modified vehicles, without the need for a multi-plate clutch's increased capacity. Similar to our multi-plate clutches, it boasts a purple anodized, forged aluminium cover that is stiffer than a stamped cover, reducing pedal efforts and eliminating clamp load deflection found in pressed metal types. This kit includes a chromoly steel flywheel, 6-puck cerametallic facing, and a sprung centre damper disc assembly. The smaller, thinner disc contributes to lower inertia for quicker, easier shifting compared to the OEM disc. A series of turbine-like vanes on the pressure plate enhances airflow, keeping the clutch cooler under extreme operating conditions to improve wear life. The lightweight and low inertia design of the Hyper Single Clutch Kit increases shift response for faster gear changes, especially beneficial for racing applications. It uses a high friction coefficient, low-wear material [T5001] that allows for reduced clutch size without sacrificing durability. The stronger, smaller damper disc, specifically designed for this kit, further enhances durability and contributes to the overall performance benefits of this clutch.
