The EWP130 Alloy Pump is constructed from robust aluminium alloy, powder coated for corrosion resistance, and features inlet and outlet bolt flanges with supplied straight and 90-degree fittings for flexible installation options. This advanced electric water pump flows an impressive 130 litres per minute, suitable for large capacity engines or high revving/high power output competition engines. By upgrading to a Davies Craig EWP over a mechanical pump, you'll enjoy benefits including: coolant circulation after engine shutdown, increased engine power and torque, better temperature control, improved cooling capacity, enhanced fuel economy, prolonged engine life, reduced radiator size and weight, and higher maximum engine speed. The Davies Craig EWP130 pump can be installed as a standalone item, but for optimal performance, it's recommended to use it with the included digital controller. This advanced device offers full control over your engine's running temperature, ensuring optimal cooling system operation. The kit includes a selection of fittings to suit various hose sizes and installation instructions. The Digital Controller is equipped with an LCD display showing current engine temperature and user-settable target temperature, as well as symbols indicating fan and pump status. Audible alarms sound if the set temperature is exceeded by 10 degrees Celsius or if a temperature of 40 degrees Celsius isn't reached within 5 minutes of startup. When paired with a Davies Craig EWP, this controller allows for faster engine warm-up and precise pump speed control to maintain the desired engine temperature. The factory-set target temperature is 85 degrees Celsius, but it offers nine user-settable temperatures ranging from 60 to 100 degrees Celsius for customised performance.
