The Davies Craig digital thermatic EWP/fan switch is a highly versatile and user-friendly device designed to provide seamless control over cooling fans or electric water pumps. This innovative switch features an adjustable temperature range of 40-110 degrees Celsius, allowing users to set their desired coolant temperature via a button on the front of the unit. In twin fan setups, the switch provides a convenient 10-second delay between the first and second fans starting up, ensuring efficient operation. The kit includes all necessary sensors and wiring for hassle-free installation. Moreover, the digital thermatic EWP/fan switch kits come with different sensor options, probe types, or probe and thematic sensors, catering to various applications. The probe can be placed directly into the cooling system via the top radiator hose or fitted between the fins of the radiator for a simpler fitting solution. The thermatic (coolant temperature) sensor is designed to screw into a waterway in the engine or radiator or alternatively into a coolant hose using a separately available adaptor. Notably, if this switch is used with an electronic water pump, it will only switch the pump on and off but not control the pump speed. For this purpose, we recommend the Davies Craig EWP/digital fan controller. The kit contents include: Switch Unit, Mount Kit, Scotch Lock, Ring Terminal, Self-Tapping Screws, Wiring Connector, probe sensor or probe and thermatic sensors. The device is suitable for 12-volt or 24-volt operation; however, please note that the kit sold in 12-volt configuration requires changing the two relays with 24-volt units, which are not supplied in the kit.
