Introducing Canton's high-quality oil cooler sandwich plates designed for optimising your vehicle's oil system. These adapter plates enable you to incorporate an extra inlet and outlet into your engine's oil circuit, enhancing its temperature regulation capabilities. By installing the sandwich plates between the oil filter and the engine block, they replace the original bypass, fitting seamlessly into the empty hole left after removing the stock bypass. The oil port of these plates measures 1/2 inch NPT thread for secure connection. The included hardware ensures a straightforward installation process. These versatile adapters cater to various engine types with diverse thread specifications: - For BMW, most Fords, VAG Group, and Toyota applications, the thread is 3/4" UNF. - American V8 engines require a 13/16" UNF thread. - Vauxhall / Opel, as well as American V8 vehicles, use an M18 thread. - Citroen, Peugeot XU and TU models, Subaru Impreza, Honda Civic / Integra Type R, Mazda, Renault, and Fiat applications necessitate an M20 thread. - Honda vehicles have a range of suitable oil filters that can be found here.
