This Canton Universal Single Oil Input Sandwich Plate, designed for 3/4 inch applications, offers versatility with its range of thread options. Compatible with 3/4" -16, 13/16" - 16, 18mm - 1.5, and 20mm - 1.5, it caters to different engine setups. The plate comes equipped with a standard 2-5/8" O-Ring for secure sealing. This adaptor houses one 1/2" N.P.T. oil input port prior to filtration, ensuring efficient oil flow from the Accusump. The plate mounts conveniently between the block and oil filter, reducing the height of your filter by 1-1/4". By doing so, it simplifies the installation process, eliminating the need for drilling or tapping. To connect your Accusump to your engine, simply replace your existing oil filter with this adaptor. Begin by removing your old filter and inserting the new one onto the adaptor. Subsequently, attach a fresh oil filter on top of the adaptor. Finally, screw in the feed line from the Accusump into the 1/2 NPT female port on the adaptor. Please note that no check valve should be used with this adaptor.
